Scholarship applications are due annually on March 15th. Applications open on January 1st each year. Winners are announced in June, with awards distributed in August before the start of the academic year.
We welcome mentors who can commit to meeting with a student at least twice per month for a minimum of one year. All mentors must complete an application, provide references, and pass a background check. Contact us for more information or to start the application process.
Yes! The Henson Benson Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your contribution that can be used for tax purposes.

Yes! We have volunteer opportunities suitable for youth volunteers (ages 14+) with parental consent. Youth volunteers typically assist with event support, community service projects, and peer tutoring programs.
